Leave a Legacy for the Future

The Carter Legacy Circle is a special group of donors like you, who wish to ensure that our work continues for many generations. Sheila Morris and Teresa Williams are great examples of donors who give to the Center and preserve their current income while providing meaningful support. They chose to make a difference by naming The Carter Center as a beneficiary of their life insurance policies.

According to Teresa, "Supporting the Center through a planned gift is not something that just wealthy people can do." In addition to gifts of life insurance, there are many other ways for individuals of any age or income level to make a planned gift.

Sheila's message to others is that "We take nothing with us when we leave this earth. We should make sure that what we leave behind goes toward the core values we embraced while we were here."
